Talk: Changing Luton as seen through old photographs

Every first Thursday of the month, Wardown House, Museum and Gallery presents an evening talk related to the collections.

Join Chris Grabham, Heritage Collections Curator for an illustrated talk using old photographs from the Museum’s collection. We’ll see how some of Luton’s streets and buildings have changed over the last 150 years. Using old aerial photographs and street views, we’ll see how Luton used to look. We’ll take a closer look at a few of the town’s old buildings and hear some of the stories associated with them. The main focus will be on the town centre but other parts of Luton will also be covered.

The talk will last for 60 minutes followed by a 30 minute Q and A session.
