Stockwood Illuminated | Specialist 3-Year Contract. Closing date: 31/01/25
The Culture Trust has produced Stockwood Illuminated since 2018. First conceived in collaboration with artist Ulf Pederson, we have since developed the light show inhouse, creating a magical trail of light and illumination that weaves its way through the historic grounds of Grade II listed Stockwood Discovery Centre.
As the event is growing year on year, we are now looking for an outdoor light trail specialist to collaborate creatively with us, and oversee the entire event production, installation, management and de-rig for 2025 – 2027. We invite specialist companies to apply for a three-year contract.

About the Job:

We have an exciting opportunity within the Commercial and Operations team where you will assist the team across our sites to ensure that the cafés are operated efficiently and effectively, that all areas are clean, safe, and presentable and that a consistently high standard of catering and customer service is delivered to our general visitors and corporate clients.
The successful applicant will play an important role in providing high quality refreshments to our general visitors, staff and corporate clients at our museums, art centre and creative spaces. You will be responsible for the delivery of excellent customer care at all times and ensuring outstanding customer satisfaction.
About you:
This is a public facing role so you’ll need to show a fluency in speaking and writing English.
You will be required to work across Culture Trust sites when necessary to meet business requirements. So if you have some knowledge of Health and Safety procedures in a catering environment and a basic Food Hygiene Certificate or equivalent experience, we look forward to receiving your application.

We have an exciting opportunity within the Commercial and Operations team where you will support the Head of Commercial Operations & Head of Operations with the day to day provision of a high quality front of house and commercial service at The Culture Trust Venues.
The successful applicant will be the primary contact point and lead front-line staff at all sites. You will be the first point of contact for staff, customers, hirers and users of the facilities, ensuring the health and safety and well-being of all staff and users, as well as dealing with all technical, building and commercial issues. You will be responsible for the delivery of excellent customer care at all times and ensuring outstanding customer satisfaction and for the delivery of agreed KPI’s in line with the business plan.
About you:

The operations team are currently seeking some additions to the team.
You will need to assist the teams by providing casual support work in Culture Trust venues, including our creative spaces, museums and arts venues, providing assistance to visiting customers and at events, by undertaking a range of duties, ensuring a high quality of customer service and contributing to the continuous improvement of the Trust.
With experience of dealing with the public, you will be able to work in a team and be capable of supervising public areas and events. You will be required to carry out a range of administrative tasks, sale of refreshments and retail goods, setting up equipment and using various IT packages.
We require casual team members who are available to work various shifts during weekdays, evenings or weekends at various venues around Luton.

You will also ensure that food/personal hygiene regulations are adhered to at all times.
