Music In The Museum: BAADAL SE DVAAR SE NAZAR

Classical music performance will take place in the stunning Drawing Room, surrounded by the museum's unique art collection and with spectacular views overlooking Wardown Park.

Since 2013 – zerOclassikal has been platforming the composition of Asian classical music – showcasing experimentation, progressions as well as some of the finest telent trained in the UK.

Here, through a new partnership with the museum/Culture Trust zerOclassikal present a series of new music.

BADDAL SE DVAAR SE  NAZAR

A zerOclassikal commissioned work for Sarod and Viola exploring both tradition and solitude through the dhrupad idiom on Sarod, and openess and explorations of consonance, dissonance, harmony, timbre, and resonance on viola.

William, a multi-instrumentalist specialising in both the sarod and Rubab will be joined by Benedict Taylor on viola.
