Amazing Indigo
Time to dip into the magical process of indigo dyeing in this introductory class with Jane Charles, a Milton Keynes based textile maker.
Play with the 3 basic ways of making pattern in the cloth to create wonderful patterns and textures. You can create a length of fabric or a tea-towel during the class and be inspired to join us again later in the year for more 'Place of Making' workshops.
Cost includes refreshments.
Please Note:
Basic sewing skills required - all materials will be provided, bring a thimble if you need one though! Participants are advised to wear old clothes and an apron, and bring rubber gloves. Materials and equipment are provided. Please bring a plastic bag to take home your fabrics.
