Art Therapy
We offer free Art Therapy workshops by a qualified therapist at The Hat Factory Arts Centre through Bedfordshire and Luton Recovery College. Art Therapy provides a supportive and safe space, with a focus on mental health wellbeing and recovery.
Come paint, draw and be creative in your own special way. Butterfly Project - Art Therapy is an open studio space in the Hat Factory using creative expression and art as therapy. Led by a qualified Art Psychotherapist, these sessions are devised to calm the mind and create space for new ways of being, thinking and feeling.
Session dates: May 12th, 19th & 26th, June 9th & 23rd, July 7th and 14th. 10am - 11.30am.

Each week I bring my feelings, my doubts and my desires to the session. Sharing these makes me feel better.
I enjoy drawing and all the art I see from other members. It helps me feel understood.
I really enjoy Art Therapy. Thursday is my favourite day of the week!
I have found confidence I never thought I had in coming to this small group.
I always feel better after each session. Coming to Art Therapy every week has reduced my nightmares.
