PRIDE in Luton: Vigil 2023

Pride in Luton festival will always start with a vigil to remember those who have been taken far too soon.

We will recognise those in other countries who are less accepting and have laws where being LGBTQ+ is punishable by imprisonment or sometimes death.

We are delighted to welcome Denise Henry from the National Education Union black LGBTQI+ network and executive member for Black teachers who will also talk about the LGBTQI+ Windrush generation.

Music will be provided by Jamie, a young musician from Luton.

Vigil Times 7pm – 7:45pm followed by socialising in the cafe.
