On the Wings of a Wirebird: Round Table

Join us for an informal round table talk focusing on interconnected heritage, following Lutonian artist Sophie Gresswell’s research into her ancestry which spans several countries and contenants to reach us here in Luton.

We invite members of the Luton community and creatives both local and national to join us in an evening of discussion reclaiming the term ‘British’ by sharing histories, narratives and perspectives, aiming to connect rather than categorise.

After the talk there will be an opportunity to network and explore Sophie’s developing exhibition at the Departure Lounge Gallery ahead of her Residency to the Island of Saint Helena in January 2023.

Running time: 60 minutes
