Lucy Strange’s lively events are engaging and entertaining; she will spill the behind-the-scenes secrets of how she created the Lockett & Wilde series, and share some of her own creative writing top tips! Having fun with traditional ghostly tales, gothic settings and restless spirits, children will come up with ideas for their own spooky stories!
In this fun interactive workshop, young people will gain invaluable insight into the craft of storytelling, learn practical tips on writing, from developing compelling characters to creating vivid settings.
Lucy’s approachable style and passion for nurturing young talent make her workshops both inspiring and educational, giving aspiring writers the confidence and tools they need to begin or refine their own creative journey.

Lucy Strange
Lucy Strange is an award-winning children’s author who lives in the heart of the Kent countryside with her partner and their young son. Her books capture elements of classic children’s literature in a style that is engaging and accessible for today’s younger readers. Often
inspired by folklore and fairy tales, Lucy combines historical settings with touches of magic and fantasy to create utterly convincing worlds in which anything might happen.
